Lilith Fair and Ourstage.com

Howdy peeps!
I haven't blogged in a while. I've been so busy. I hope you all are still following me and wanting hear about what I have going on..

Lilith Fair is coming to Phoenix this year and I'm trying to get in! Ourstage.com is picking one female group or artist from each of the North American cities that Sarah McLachlin and the others are stopping. It was a hard decision to pick a song for the contest so I decided to write a song. The song was inspired by a poet that I heard in Los Angeles and its called "Love you through words". As of now, the song is being mixed and mastered by a good friend here, Paul Richards. I can't wait for you all to hear it! It will hopefully be finished and uploaded this week. Voting starts on May 1st for the top twenty in my city! So you will be hearing from me soon!


I also competed in a singing contest this past month. Where I received 2nd place:) It was put on by Chicks with Picks here in Arizona! Pandy and Rhonda,the founders, are great women that care about female singer-songwriters having the opportunity to play music at different venues! What a blessing!
Sophie B.Hawkins was the headliners for this event called "Chick Stock" and it was be a beautiful day of music!!!!

The Sirens, Kri and Heddy, stopped in Phoenix a couple of weeks ago and it was a blast! Their energy is awesome and I was happy to see their beautiful smiling faces!
